Climate Consortium Denmark is the official focal point for all business-related activities in Denmark.

The Consortium is a public-private partnership set up June 2008 in preparation for Denmark's hosting the UN Climate Conference, COP 15, to strengthen awareness of the competences and solutions of Danish businesses, industries and universities in the cleantech sector, nationally as well as internationally.

The founders of the Consortium are: The Marketing Denmark Fund, the Confederation of Danish Industry, the Danish Construction Association, the Danish Energy Association, the Danish Agriculture & Food Council and the Danish Wind Industry Association.

Climate Consortium Denmark creates awareness of Danish climate solutions and technologies. Danish businesses, industries and universities offer strong competences and innovative solutions to the global climate challenge, and it is the aim of the Climate Consortium to spread this message internationally.

The long-term objective of Climate Consortium Denmark is to assist in increasing Danish cleantech exports in order to attract investment, labour, scientists and foreign students to Denmark.

H.R.H. Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark is patron of Climate Consortium Denmark and takes an active part in our work.
